Our AReA Centre
The 7-acre Alamsari Raya Regenerative Agriculture (AReA) Centre has been under development since June 2025 in Kg. Gantok, Temerloh, Pahang as a collaborative initiative between Alamsari Raya and Sultan Ahmad Shah Environment Trust (SASET). The centre comprises a 2.5-acre robusta coffee regenerative farm, coffee Processing (Roasting Centre), the workers’s hut, store building, canteen, nursery and arabica plant area, fruit orchard, regenerative robusta plots, and the cultivation area for arabica coffee, patchouli, and cocoa trees.
Primary Functions of the AReA Centre
Provide a coffee agroforestry model and high-density coffee plantation model -The AReA Centre will develop and demonstrate sustainable coffee farming systems, showcasing both agroforestry practices that integrate coffee with other crops and high-density plantation techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Serve as a one-stop R&D centre for upstream and midstream coffee activities – The Centre will act as a research and development hub, supporting all stages of coffee production from farm management (upstream) to processing and product development (midstream), providing technical guidance, innovation, and training for stakeholders.
Operate coffee midstream processes for the market – The Centre will manage the processing of coffee beans, including drying, roasting, and packaging, ensuring quality control and readying products for commercial distribution, thereby linking farm-level production directly to the market.
